Lincoln volleyball sweeps Whitehall

Lincoln played Whitehall at home Tuesday night for their Dig Pink event. The event raised $8,500 for Paulette Powell and her family.

The first set would prove to be the toughest for the Hornets as the would come from behind and pull ahead at the list minutes to take the set at 26-24.

They would follow with an impressive second set victory of 25-17 behind impressive serving and play at the net.

The final set would be all Hornets as they would finish off the Norse in a 25-19 set.

Cassidy Huber was rock solid behind the serving line and was 17-for-17 on the night. Maddy Shramek led the team in kills with 11, Natalie Fischer had six and McKenna Zimbauer was able to tack on five from the right side. Middles Maddy Shramek and Elise Theiler were each able to get in a block.
