In their first match of the season, the Tiger wrestling team faced off against Royall in a dual meet last Thursday ending with a 30-28 win.

In the 170-pound division, Royall’s Josh Palamaruk would defeat the Tiger’s Geoffery Garvin in a 9-1 major decision giving Royall four points.

Next in the 182-pound division, Royall would add an additional six points after Luke Wohlrab would pin the Tiger’s Silas Cleveland in 21 seconds.

Royall’s Noah Friedl would round of the first three matches of the night with a pin over the Tiger’s Kaleb Dobson in 1:07 at 195 pounds.

Black River Fall’s Ethan Osley would get some points back after pinning Royall’s Jon Weidner at 1:04 in the 285-pound division.

Dakota Ledebuhr would follow suit as he would pin Royall’s Harley Leverenz at 1:01 in the 126-pound weight class.

In the fastest pin of the night for the Tigers, Josh Goldsmith would pin Royall’s Doug Woodworth in 30 seconds at the 152-pound weight class.
