Wildcats rout Gilmanton in conference play

The Blair-Taylor girls’ basketball team would match up against Gilmanton last Friday on their way to an easy 68-29 win.

The Wildcats would start the game with an 8-0 run before Gilmanton would score at 14:45. The Wildcats would then go on a 24-point run, setting themselves up for an impressive defensive first half leaving the score at 47-6.

Danyelle Waldera would lead the Wildcats in scoring on a 16-point night including scoring 13 points in the first half before being rested for most of the second.

Scoring for the rest of the Wildcats was spread out as all 10 players would score during the game.

McKenna Nehring would lead that list with 11 points followed by Samantha Fuselier with nine. The pair of Marlee Nehring and Cierra Curran would each chip in six points.

The leading scorer for the Panthers would be Kaitlyn Johnson with 10 points.
