Vernon Memorial Healthcare will soon open the doors to the new La Farge Medical Clinic. With the new clinic building comes the opportunity to expand and enhance services currently being offered to all patients.
Community input and patient needs, along with years of research of other facilities, have gone into the process of developing enhanced services and life-changing programming close to home.
While the La Farge Medical Clinic will continue to offer the longtime valued and trusted primary care to its patients, it looks forward to helping more people with additional services and programming.
With the help of the University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics and Waisman Center in Madison, the La Farge Medical Clinic has been developing a genetics program to improve the lives of local children and families. The development of this program will offer low-cost genetic testing and care for patients with rare genetic and metabolic disorders.
Dr. James DeLine will be discussing the addition of the genetic program and how it will fit into the current practice at La Farge Medical Clinic on Wednesday, April 15, at noon in Vernon Memorial Hospital’s Community Rooms 1 and 2.
The expected date of completion on the La Farge Medical Clinic construction project is planned for July. Construction updates may be found on the Vernon Memorial Healthcare Facebook page.
