Brian Harry Bach, beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018.
He was born in Madison, Wis., Sept., 1, 1957, to Harry and Violet Bach, and will be dearly missed. Brian graduated from La Follette High School and UW-Madison School of Pharmacy, spending most of his professional career working for Franciscan Skemp and Goltz Pharmacy. He was an amazing man of many talents, an excellent clinical pharmacist, tree farmer and wood worker. He could fix and do almost anything and had the tools to prove it!
Brian loved the outdoors and an active lifestyle, camping, canoeing, kayaking, hunting and horseback riding, always enjoyed most in the company of his many friends. Over the years, Brian has been an avid cyclist, and skier and participated in many group rides like the RAGBRAI, and races including the American Birkebeiner. He loved his life in the country, planting thousands of trees on his farm and creating his own version of paradise. He was generous, and thoughtful, always willing to lend a hand by sharing his time, passions and possessions with neighbors and friends.
Brian is survived by his children, Eric and Kayla Bach and Candace Betsinger-Pratt; grandchildren, Alex Siedschlag, Megan Pratt and Ben Gohres; sister, Barbara Bach; nephews, Christopher and Eric Cornelio and Manuel Guzman; and dear friend, Chris Kakuska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Violet Bach; and sister, Beverly Kay Bach.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Olivet Lutheran Church, 2100 Bainbridge St., La Crosse. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. to service time. Lunch following.
