LANSING, Iowa — Paul E. Moritz, 67, of Lansing died Sunday, May 1, 2011, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1943, in Elkader, Iowa, to Homer and Donna Oelke Moritz.
He is survived by his longtime special friend, Debra Darling of Waukon, Iowa; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Ken Radloff of Farmersburg, Iowa; his brother, Dave (Diana) Moritz of Lansing; his sisters, Mary Anderson formerly of Waukon and Kathy (Jim) Granlund of Alexandria, Minn. He is further survived by his very special nephew and nieces; Dave (Kathy) Moritz Jr. of Lansing, Michelle Kurth (Abe Leis) of Holmen, Vicky (Rich) Bannen of Steuben and Dawn (Tom) Fish of Red Wing, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer, in 1950; and brother-in-law, Ken Anderson, in 2009.
Per Paul’s request, the body was cremated and no services will be held. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Clayton Center Cemetery, in Clayton Center, Iowa.
