WEST SALEM/BANGOR — Ryan F. Tauscher, 40, of the West Salem and Bangor areas went to his heavenly home Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, as a result of a car accident.
He was born May 2, 1977, in La Crosse to Frederick and Vickie (Manke) Tauscher. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Bangor. Ryan married Dawn Hughart June 27, 2008. His greatest joy in life was his daughters, Macey and Marley. As a family, they had many adventures from Disney trips, fishing in the bottoms, bike riding, running races or just playing games or watching movies at home. As a very involved father, Ryan spent every minute he could with the girls and showed his love in many ways. He particularly loved being involved with their sports and watching them at their basketball and soccer games and cross country meets.
A lover of good music, Ryan was often found with his favorite bands playing on the radio or attending concerts. He was talented in many ways including carpentry, athleticism, and all the characteristics of a great man. Ryan took pride in everything he did. He was an extremely hard worker, noble, and a humble owner of a successful business that he was passionate about. He took dignity and honor in every job that he completed for others. His attention to detail was impeccable. Ryan was a phenomenal father, the greatest husband, son, brother, grandson, and friend. He was someone you could always count on when you needed something and was a man true to his word.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dawn; daughters, Macey (12) and Marley (10); his parents, Fred and Vickie Tauscher; his sister, Stephanie (Jared); his grandmother, Kay Tauscher; Dawn’s loving family; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maynard Tauscher and Edward and Dorothy Manke; and his uncles, Allen Manke and Edward Manke Jr.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 401 16th Ave. N., Bangor. The Rev. Roy Hefti will officiate. Burial will follow in Burns Cemetery.
