GALESVILLE — Tina M. Schwier, 40, of Galesville passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Methodist Campus, Rochester, Minn.
She was born Feb. 15, 1978, in La Crosse, to Jean Garves and Jeffrey Reed. On Sept. 20, 2003, Tina married Tony Schwier at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Barre Mills; this union was blessed with two boys. She worked at Bremer Bank in Onalaska. Tina and her family enjoyed camping at Whispering Pines Campground, there they spent many wonderful days camping and nights under the stars, making memories to last a lifetime. She was a loving wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Tony; two sons, Aidan and Ethan; her mother, Jean Garves; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon and Larry Schwier; Tony’s siblings and their families; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Tina was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elaine and Robert Garves; and her aunt, Carol Garves.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home, Jostad Chapel, 121 N. Youlon St., West Salem. The Rev. Andrew Schultz will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Barre Mills. A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, both at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral Home, Jostad Chapel, West Salem. The family respectfully requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
