This big and dense dark red wine is what we would call a fruit bomb — and we think that’s a good thing.
There’s nothing wrong with wine that showcases a variety of fruit and this California offering from the Michael Mondavi family does that and more. There are lush flavors of blackberry, cherry, blueberry and spice layered with soft but noticeable tannins.
This is an easy-drinking and enjoyable wine that would pair nicely with any holiday gathering.
