The La Crosse Public Education Foundation awarded more than $40,000 in grants Monday to support classroom innovation.

The more than 30 grants will put iTouchs, Kindles and camcorders in the hands of La Crosse School District students and provide opportunities to learn through projects that connect their classroom with the outdoors.
