La Crosse police arrested three people after a fight and stabbing outside a downtown bar early Thursday that was captured on surveillance video.

Bouncers at Carlie’s, 111 S Third St., removed Luke C. Morrissey, 24, of St. Paul, Minn., and Adam Aldrich, 34, for fighting with others inside the bar about 12:30 a.m., police stated.

Outside, the pair fought with several other men. After that fight, Morrissey stabbed a man in the head three times with a knife, according to police. The stabbing triggered another fight that ended when Morrissey was kicked in the head and left unconscious.

The stabbing victim was treated and released.

Morrissey faces charges of recklessly endangering safety and aggravated battery and Aldrich faces a disorderly conduct charge. A third person, whose name was not released, was arrested on a warrant.
