La Crosse County Circuit Court felony charges:

Dai’Twon Cowson, 20, of 1315 S. Fourth St., No. 6, was charged Wednesday with three counts of burglary, two as party to the crime, five counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, two counts of receiving stolen property and misdemeanor theft. Cowson broke into a La Crosse apartment on Dec. 12 and stole a credit card, according to the complaint. He also is accused of driving a man to commit a burglary on Jan. 11 and using a credit card stolen during the burglary.

Brett Brown, 23, Corey Inderlee, 33, and Austin Bonner, 21, all of of 113 S. Third St., each were charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and THC, both as party to the crime, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Police found cocaine salt, marijuana and a drug scale during a search of the Third Street apartment on Tuesday, according to the complaint.

Jose Santos, 37, of 802 Ferry St., was charged with possession of cocaine, a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, all as party to the crime. Santos had cocaine, marijuana and a pipe in his bedroom on Tuesday, according to the complaint.

U.S. District Court charges:

Justin Cain, 35, La Crosse, was indicted Wednesday for stealing mail. Cain stole a piece of mail from the La Crosse post office on Sept. 14, 2013, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office. If convicted, Cain faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. The charge against him is the result of an investigation by the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General, U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The prosecution of this case is being handled by Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Chadwick Elgersma.
