The Franciscan Healthcare Auxiliary will host a book signing for Sister Malinda Gerke and her book, “Mary of the Angels Chapel: God’s Answer to a Bold Promise,” from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Garden Room of St. Rose Convent at 701 Franciscan Way in La Crosse.

The coffee-table-style book chronicles the vision for and construction of Mary of the Angels Chapel in the mother house of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, of which Gerke is a member.

The event will offer opportunities to tour the chapel, as well as talk with Gerke, along with John Zoerb of La Crosse and Sue Retzlaff of Holmen, two photographers who were heavily involved in producing the book. Copies of the book, which costs $50, will be available to buy and have signed.

The book is also available at the FSPA book shop and online.

For more information, contact Rose Raska at 608-785-0121 or Sister Malinda Gerke at 608-784-2288.
