Two people were hospitalized Sunday after a car struck a motorcycle in the town of Gale.

A car driven by Caleb Tamke, 21, of Whitehall, was driving north on Hwy. AA when he failed to stop for a stop sign at Hwy. 54 about 10:30 a.m. and hit a motorcycle driven by Brian Tridle, 61, of Ettrick, according to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department.

Tridle and his passenger, 62-year-old Vicki Truscott-Tridle of Ettrick, were taken to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, where they were in fair condition Monday.

Tamke and his two passengers were not injured.
