It’s beginning to look like the Wisconsin vote might be critical to the upcoming presidential election. I can’t imagine why there is any question in the first place — this administration is against the country.
During the past 3½ years, President Barack Obama has spent most of his time campaigning for re-election. He has accomplished things like adding nearly $5 trillion to the national debt, and it’s still increasing.
Government spending is at an all-time high, and the president has given us ObamaCare, which if not repealed will bankrupt this nation.
It seems Obama is now encouraging people to go on welfare. This is not the American way.
I don’t know what has become of the America I grew up in. I couldn’t wait to get a job and earn money to be more independent. I started working at age 12 as a paperboy. It gave me a sense of pride doing my route.
Today, more and more people expect the government to give them handouts instead of seeking jobs. I think we need to go back to the days when welfare handouts consisted of a block of cheese, a sack of flour, some molasses and beans — but no money!
This country made a huge mistake when Obama became president. Just look at his actual record for proof. He is an eloquent speaker, but he lacks any substance.
This November we need to correct that mistake before it’s too late.
