MADISON - Authorities say the body of a man missing since November has been found in a marshy area of Jefferson County.
WMTV-TV reports today that hunters found a set of human remains shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday in the town of Oakland.
An investigation by sheriff's deputies and the county coroner identified the remains as 46-year-old Joseph M. Coloso of Sullivan. The cause of death hasn't been determined, but foul play is not suspected.
Coloso was reported missing on Nov. 12. His vehicle was found the next day. The area was searched, but he wasn't found.
The body was about 1.4 miles from where the vehicle was found.
