BLACK RIVER FALLS - Three more arrests have been made in an ongoing "million dollar" drug trafficking operation impacting Jackson County, according to the county Sheriff's Depart-ment.
Taken into custody this week on the following charges were:
- Socorro Kerner, 29, of Milwaukee on two counts of manufacturing/delivering cocaine-conspire to manufacturing/delivering drugs and two counts of manufacturing/delivering drugs.
- Kelly P. Brey, 28, of Alma Center for manufacturing/delivering THC-conspire to manufacturing/delivering drugs and possession of cocaine.
- Kathy Kopp, 26, of Black River Falls on two counts of manufacturing/delivering cocaine-conspire to manufacturing/delivering drugs.
Kerner was released on a $5,000 cash bond, while Brey and Kopp are out on signature bonds.
Eight others were charged in February in Jackson County: Jesse J. Blang, 29, of Black River Falls; Matthew A. Conradson, 27, of Black River Falls; Mary Jean Bearfield, 34, of Hixton; Jason Roy Gottschalk, 28, of Black River Falls; Edward Louis Kelley Jr., 30, of Black River Falls; Jeremy James Campbell, 29, of Black River Falls; Thomas Tondola, 41, of Black River Falls; and Victor L. Williams, 30, of Madison.
The arrests involved the Sheriff's Department and agents from the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigations.
Information gathered from the investigation provides evidence of an ongoing conspiracy to deliver and distribute narcotics in Jackson County and surrounding communities, Jackson County Sheriff Duane Waldera said in a news release.
The case remains under investigation and "subsequent arrests and asset forfeitures are imminent," Waldera said.
