I, too, was appalled at the sentences given for the murder of Audryna Bartsh.
I understand the difference between second- and first-degree murder is that first-degree murder is premeditated.
This was murder by torture and starvation. It was drawn out for months. It wasn't spur of the moment. It sickens me to think of what she went through.
She didn't get justice. Life in prison wouldn't be too much for those people.
"The court" sentenced the murderers. "The court" should put itself in Audryna's little shoes and maybe the sentences would be match the crime.
