On Feb. 26, 12 days after the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, President Donald Trump said, "I really believe I'd run in there, even if I didn't have a weapon."

This statement comes from a man who avoided the draft from 1968 to 1972 with four educational deferments and one final medical deferment because of reported bone spurs in his feet.

Fortunately for Trump, his bone spurs would have prevented him from running into the carnage that took place last month in Florida, or anywhere else heroism is called for.
