Gov. Scott Walker will deliver the keynote address, entitled “A Conversation on Wisconsin’s Economy,” at 12:30 p.m. today at the Governor’s Small Business Summit at the La Crosse Center.

The Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. and the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority are sponsoring the summit from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is expected to draw 350 participants.

The summit will include the following speakers and topics:

♦ Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch: “Wisconsin Is Open for Business — Let’s Get This Done Together.”

♦ Department of Administration Secretary Mike Huebsch: “Running State Government Like a Small Business.”

♦ DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp: “Wisconsin DNR — Your Partner in Growing Jobs”

♦ Kwik Trip vice president Steve Loehr: “From Truck Driver to Over 400 Stores — the Kwik Trip Story, Taking a Small Business to the Next Level.”

Discussion panels and workshops will be interspersed among the talks.
