MIDLAND, Texas (AP) -- Correlle Prime homered and singled as the Frisco RoughRiders beat the Midland RockHounds 7-4 on Wednesday.
Michael O'Neill doubled and singled twice for Frisco.
Midland started the scoring in the second inning. After hitting a single with two outs, Eli White stole second and then scored on a double by J.P. Sportman.
Frisco answered in the next half-inning, scoring two runs to take the lead for good. Hunter Cole and O'Neill hit RBI singles en route to the one-run lead.
The RoughRiders later tacked on five runs in the fourth, including a solo home run by Prime.
Frisco right-hander Pedro Payano (2-3) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on five hits over six innings. Opposing starter Kyle Friedrichs (2-3) took the loss in the Texas League game after a rough outing in which he allowed seven runs and 10 hits over 3 1/3 innings. Jeffrey Springs pitched two scoreless innings for his first save of the season.
