Wisconsin senior quarterback Joel Stave will play in the 2016 East-West Shrine Game, the annual all-star game announced on Monday.
Stave joins UW fullback Derek Watt and safety Michael Caputo, who previously accepted invitations to play in the game.
In 12 games, Stave has thrown for 2,470 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while leading the Badgers to a 9-3 record and a berth in the Holiday Bowl against Southern Cal on Dec. 30 in San Diego.
The Shrine Game will be held on Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. CT in St. Petersburg, Florida. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network.
