The University of Wisconsin football team will face Miami in its first-ever trip to the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30, the second straight year the Badgers are heading to a New Year’s Six Bowl game.
The game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff on ESPN from Hard Rock Stadium, the same venue where the Hurricanes play their home games.
A win would give the Badgers two straight victories in BCS/New Year’s Six Bowl games for the first time since winning the 1998 and 1999 Rose Bowls.
UW (12-1) suffered its first loss of the season Saturday, a 27-21 loss to Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship game, and will seek a program-record 13th victory against Miami.
