WAYNE, Neb. — Logan High School graduate Jordyn Kleman helped the ninth-ranked Winona State University softball team run its winning streak to five games by pitching a no-hitter in its 4-0 win over Wayne State in the second game of a doubleheader on Thursday.

Kleman struck out 15 and walked two for the Warriors (28-4, 7-1 NSIC), who won the first game 8-0 in five innings.

Winona State outfielder Mariah Schultz, an Onalaska Luther graduate, went 3-for-6 with her first home run of the season in the first game and her first double of the season in the second game. She scored three runs to go with her two RBI.

Kleman, who led the Rangers to a WIAA Division 2 state championship as a junior, is 10-1 with a 1.95 ERA over 86⅓ innings. She has struck out 75 batters and walked 15 while shutting out four opponents.

Schultz is batting .357 with one home run and nine RBI. She has stolen a team-high 11 bases, doubled four times and tripled once.
