ST. JOSEPH, Minn. — Onalaska High School graduate Hallie Schmeling scored a season-high 15 points to help the Saint Mary's University (Minn.) women's basketball team beat Minnesota-Morris 81-57 on Saturday.

Schmeling, a freshman guard, went 6-for-11 from the floor and made 3 out of 5 attempts from the 3-point line as the Cardinals (2-1) to share the team scoring lead with Alexa Huisman. Schmeling also had two assists and two rebounds.

Schmeling is shooting 53.8 percent from the floor (7-for-13) and averaging 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game for Saint Mary's.
