The WIAA has released the eight-team brackets that will produce seeds and matchups through the quarterfinal rounds of the upcoming playoffs.

Here is a look at where Coulee Region teams were placed:

Division 2

Holmen (7-2) and Central (5-4) have been placed with Appleton West (6-3, Ashwaubenon (4-5), Green Bay Southwest (8-1), Marshfield (6-3), Menomonie (9-0) and Pulaski (5-4).

Division 3

Onalaska (8-1) and West Salem (7-2) have been placed with Antigo (8-1), Medford (3-6), Merrill (4-5), Mosinee (5-4), New Richmond (6-2) and Rice Lake (6-2).

Division 4

Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau (9-0) has been placed with Bloomer (8-1), Ellsworth (6-3), Mauston (5-4), Nekoosa (4-5), Northwestern (6-3), Osceola (9-0) and St. Croix Central (8-1).

Division 5

Westby (5-4) and Prairie du Chien (7-2) have been placed with Brookfield Academy (4-5), Clinton (9-0), Kenosha St. Joseph (5-4), Lake Country Lutheran (9-0), Lancaster (7-2) and New Glarus/Monticello (6-3).

Division 6

Melrose-Mindoro (8-1) will compete with Fall Creek (5-4), Lake Holcombe/Cornell (4-5), Eau Claire Regis (7-2), Spring Valley (8-1), Unity (7-2), Webster (7-2) and Whitehall (5-4).

Division 7

Bangor (9-0) has been paired with Wisconsin Rapids Assumption (6-3), Athens (3-6), Edgar (9-0), Hillsboro (6-3), Independence/Gilmanton (8-1), Pittsville (8-1) and Rpyall (4-5), while De Soto (6-3) was placed with Black Hawk (9-0), Iowa-Grant (5-4), Ithaca (7-2), North Crawford (3-6), Potosi/Cassville (7-2), River Ridge (4-5) and Wauzeka/Seneca (8-1).

Seeding meetings for coaches take place Saturday morning, and brackets for all seven divisions will be released by the WIAA Saturday afternoon.
