NOTEWORTHY: New Glarus/Monticello—The Glarner Knights tied for the Capitol-South championship with a 3-1 record, have won four straight games and average 238 rushing yards and 29.3 points per game; PdC—The Blackhawks are looking for their first playoff win since 2009 and have gotten a big season out of RB Tyler Smock (139-1,099, 12 TDs) and QB Gavin Gillitzer (70-135-1,283, 8 TDs-6 INTs), but they were shut out by River Valley last week.


Lake Holcombe/Cornell (4-5) at Mel-Min (8-1)

NOTEWORTHY: LH/C—The Knights tied for third in the Lakeland-South. … QB Luke Geist has passed for 902 yards, and RB Wyatt Viegut has rushed for 892 and 12 TDs; Mel.-Min.—The Mustangs have rolled through their last eight games and have reliable RBs in Jeremy Anderson (74-832, 17 TDs), Brett Gerdes (48-506, 6 TDs) and Andy Antony (58-483, 4 TDs) to go with a defense that allows an average of 132.8 total yards per game.

Brookwood (7-2) at Mineral Point (6-3)
