The Aquinas and Bangor high school basketball programs still have teams ranked first in the by The Associated Press.

The Blugolds have the No. 1 Division 4 girls team, and the Cardinals have the No. 1 Division 5 boys team in polls released Monday evening.

Aquinas (14-0) cemented its spot ahead of No. 2 Melrose-Mindoro (14-0) with a 69-41 win over Division 3 Madison Edgewood. The Blugolds received eight first-place votes to the Mustangs' one.

Bangor's boys (10-0) received all eight first-place votes after winning its last two games by a combined 89 points.

Onalaska's boys (11-1) moved up one spot to No. 5 in Division 2 after beating Central 81-69 last week, and the Red Raiders (11-2) dropped to No. 6. Tomah (9-4) received votes in Division 2, Black River Falls (9-4) received votes in Division 3, and Melrose-Mindoro (8-3) received votes in Division 4.

Onalaska's girls (13-2) remained at No. 5 in Division 2, and Bangor (12-3) fell from No. 5 to No. 6 in Division 5. G-E-T (13-2) received votes in Division 3, and Brookwood (13-0) received votes in Division 4.
