BANGOR — The unbeaten Bangor High School boys basketball team flexed its muscles on Thursday night, dominating Cashton from start to finish in a 90-41 Scenic Bluffs win in front of approximately 750 fans in the Bangor gymnasium.

The Cardinals (10-0, 6-0) — ranked No. 1 in Division 5 by The Associated Press — raced out to a 10-2 lead, and then extended the advantage with a 22-3 run over a 7 minute, 12 second stretch in the first half to take a 32-7 lead.

Senior Caleb Miedema scored 11 of his team-high 15 points in the first half, while senior Luke Reader scored 10 of his 14 points in an 18-2 Bangor spurt to start the second half.

Sophomore Grant Manke added nine of his 11 points before half, while adding a team-high eight rebounds.

Sophomore Kristt Hilden led all scorers with 18 points for Cashton (2-9, 1-5), while senior Brady Butzler added 10 points.
