The Aquinas High School girls basketball team still leads No. 2 Melrose-

The Blugolds (20-0) beat Iowa big-school power Dowling Catholic on Saturday to keep their lead on the Mustangs (20-0).

Onalaska’s girls (17-3) moved up from sixth to a tie for fifth in Division 2, and G-E-T dropped out of the top 10 but still received votes -- as did West Salem -- in Division 3. Brookwood (19-1) moved up from receiving votes to No. 10 in Division 4.

Bangor (17-3) maintained its position at No. 4 in Division 5.

Onalaska’s boys (19-1) held at No. 3 in Division 2, while Central (17-2) moved up from No. 5 to No. 4 ahead of the teams’ scheduled matchup at Central on Friday.

G-E-T (12-6) and Black River Falls (15-5) received votes in Division 3, and Melrose-Mindoro (13-4) did the same in Division 4.

Bangor’s boys (16-1) remain second in Division 5, where De Soto (13-4) also received votes.
