The Long Island Nets spoiled a perfect start to the G League season for the Grand Rapids Drive on Sunday, but Aquinas High School graduate Bronson Koenig had his biggest game since joining the team just over one week ago.

Koenig played just 15 minutes during the 93-91 loss at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, but he poured in 11 points and had three assists for the first-place Drive (4-1), who lead the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Wisconsin Herd -- both 3-1 -- in the Central Division.

Koenig made 5 of 6 shots and 1 of 2 attempts from the 3-point line. Marquette's Dwight Buycks led the Drive, who led twice in the final 30 seconds, with 22 points.

Koenig scored seven points and had two assists in the second quarter. He is averaging 7.0 points, 1.3 assists and 1.0 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game for Grand Rapids.

Koenig is shooting 72.7 percent (8-for-11) from the floor and 60 percent (3-for-5) from the 3-point line after three games.
