Onalaska High School graduate Matt Thomas continues to be the top scorer for his Obradoiro basketball team in the Spanish League.

The team has followed up a seven-game losing streak by winning three of its last five games and moving its record to 10-11.

Thomas, who played at Iowa State in college and for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Summer League last summer, is averaging 15.5 points, 3.0 assists and 2.8 rebounds in his last four games. He has made 14 of 27 3-pointers (51.9 percent) of his 3-pointers during that stretch.

Thomas is averaging a team-best 15.7 points per game this season. He is shooting 46.8 percent from the 3-point line (44-for-94) and 52.7 percent overall (59-for-112) while averaging 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in the 19 games he has played.

Thomas, who did not play in Obradoiro's last game, is also shooting 94.2 percent from the free-throw line (49-for-52).
