Milwaukee-born skier Casey Andringa wasn't able to qualify for the Olympic men's moguls finals on Friday, but he'll have another chance.

Andringa, 22, scored 75.25 points to finish 14th among 28 competitors at Phoenix Snow Park in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Only the top 10 automatically qualified for the finals. Andringa and the others will go into a second qualifier on Monday, from which the top 10 will make the finals later in the day.

Andringa's parents, Jeff and Pam, are both former University of Wisconsin athletes who grew up in Madison. Jeff played hockey; Pam was a gymnast.

Their family moved from Wisconsin to Colorado when Casey Andringa was 3.

Casey Andringa's uncle Rob and grandfather Conrad are both in the Madison Sports Hall of Fame.
