BLAIR — Marian F. Kreuziger, 84, of Blair died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at Grand View Care Center, Blair.
She was born June 25, 1933, to the late Sylvester and Marcella (Roark) Thoma in Watertown, Wis.
Marian grew up in the Watertown area and graduated from Watertown High School with the class of 1951. She married Roman Kreuziger June 30, 1951, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Watertown. He preceded her in death Dec. 16, 2008. Together they lived in Watertown until 1973 and moved to Waukesha, Wis., until 1993. She liked old time and country music, needle point, cooking, and sewing. Marian made wonderful pies, especially cherry. It was not unusual for there to be four varieties of pie to sample on the Christmas table. Family was most important to her; she was a tireless and devoted caregiver for her son, Alan for 43 years.
Marian is survived by her five sons, Gary (Betty) Kreuziger, Waukesha, Randy Kreuziger, De Pere, Wis., Jeffrey (Julie) Kreuziger, Waukesha, Rick (Jess) Kreuziger, Merrillan, Wis., and Alan Kreuziger, De Pere; her seven grandchildren, Carly, Carissa, Justin, Lori, Amy, Milo, and Nick; her six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Kendyl, Kiersten, Taylor, Adriana and Daniel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman; parents, Sylvester and Marcella Thoma; three sisters, Florence (Gerald) Riedl, Helen (Donald) Quest, Elizabeth (Robert) Quest; and an infant brother.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 4, at St. Henry Catholic Church, Watertown, with Fr. Miroslaw Szynal officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
