BYRON, Ill. — Myrtle Pirnat, 99, passed away at home Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017.
She was born in Beloit, Wis., Nov. 12, 1918, the daughter of Herman and Ella (Petersen) Sell. She married John Pirnat in 1941. He passed away Jan. 17, 1964. Myrtle was a hard worker and devoted and loving mother.
She is survived by her sons, Richard (Nyong) Pirnat of Los Angeles, James Pirnat of Las Vegas, William (Patricia) Pirnat of Byron, ll., and Robert Pirnat of Tomah; grandchildren, Robert Jr. (Thea) Pirnat, Ryan (Erin) Pirnat, Reid Pirnat, Brandi, and Addie; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son, Thomas.
No services are scheduled at this time. Burial of the urn will take place in Greenfield Cemetery in Tunnel City, Wis., at a later date. www.farrellhollandgale.com.
