NORWALK — Robert “Bob” Moore, 73, of Norwalk died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at his Home.

He was born April 27, 1944, to Ira and Mabel (Deichler) Moore in Chicago. He grew up in the Chicago area and spent his summers in Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Trudy and later he was united in marriage to Susan Moore. He was the owner and operator of BMA, which was a jack of all trades company. Bob also drove semi for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, restoring vehicles, building cars and motorcycles, and working on his farm. He had a passion for drag racing. He enjoyed making people laugh and liked to joke around. He will be sadly missed by all who new and loved him.

He is survived by five children, Robert Platz of Norwalk, Janice (John) Jenski of Waterman, Ill., Janine (Kyle) Kostelny of Chicago, Kristine Van Kampen of Elgin, Ill., Michael (Hayley) Moore of Norwalk; 15 grandchildren, great-grandchildren; four sisters, Terri, Janet, Debbie, and Margaret; many other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Stefanski; a son-in-law, Jason Van Kampen; and two sisters, Diane and Sharon.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at St. Jacob’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Norwalk. Pastor Matthew Minzlaff will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
