Cashton Community Club’s 66th annual Fall Festival will be Sept. 6, 7 and 8 at Cashton Village Park. The theme is “A Harvest of Heroes.”

The festival kicks off two weeks early at 7 p.m. Aug. 24 with the Miss Cashton, Junior Miss Cashton and Little Miss Cashton pageant at Cashton High School. The Fall Festival Gigantic Parade marshal is announced at the same night.

Two days before the festival, Wednesday, Sept. 4, is the celebration of the Fall Festival past and present from 5 to 9 p.m. at Cashton Community Hall. The celebration includes footage from previous festivals and music by Gary and the Ridgeland Dutchmen, as well as food and refreshments.

Friday will be the start of the festival, with the carnival opening at 6 p.m.

There will be a number of events, including live music, a tractor pull, antique tractor show and arts and crafts throughout the weekend.

Buttons are $4 in advance at local retailers and $5 at the fest. Buttons allow fest-goers into the sound stage to watch the live bands.

Wristband specials for the carnival are $13 in advance or $15 at the park. Wristband hours run from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday and 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday.

The festival is sponsored by Organic Valley.
