In spring 2018 two new businesses will open on Hwy. 21 next to Starbucks.
City of Tomah city administrator Roger Gorius confirmed that Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches and Verizon will occupy the plot. Both are slated to open in the spring 2018.
Tina Thompson, executive director for the Tomah Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, is pleased to see new business continue to come to Tomah.
“I think that we have experienced a lot of growth in 2017, and that’s a good indicator of what to expect for 2018,” she said. “I don’t see this slowing down.”
Construction of the two businesses began early December.
