Police referred four people to the Monroe County District Attorney for drug charges after an undercover investigation unearthed nearly 80 grams of marijuana.
Cole Younger Greyowl, 27, Tomah; Pamela Joan Kinser, 28, Tomah; and Kaden Marshall Betts, 23, all of Tomah, were referred for manufacture/distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A fourth suspect, Zachary Devin Gibbs, 24, Tomah, was referred for manufacture/distribution of marijuana.
According to the report, a police informant made arrangements with Greyowl July 23 to purchase an ounce of marijuana for $280. The informant was told to meet Gibbs at a trailer park, where the transaction was allegedly completed. Police weighed the marijuana at 42 grams.
On July 30, the informant made arrangements with Greyowl to purchase another ounce of marijuana for $280. Grey Owl reportedly told the informant to meet Kinser at the Taco Bell parking lot, where the transaction was allegedly completed. The marijuana weighed 37 grams.
On Aug. 29, police were surveying Greyowl’s vehicle at the Daybreak Motel for possible drug activity. Shortly after 5 p.m., Greyowl and Kinser reportedly left the motel with four small children. Greyowl’s vehicle was pulled over a short time later, and Greyowl and Kinser were arrested.
The following day, police contacted Gibbs at this place of employment. During the interview, police determined it wasn’t Gibbs who made the July 23 delivery. The report says Gibbs acknowledged making approximately 30 deliveries for Greyowl prior to July 23 but said he stopped doing so in early July. Police asked Gibbs to listen to the July 23 undercover recording, and he recognized the voice as belonging to Betts.
Later that day, police went to Betts’ residence and matched him with the description of the man who made the July 23 delivery. The report says Betts acknowledged his relationship with Greyowl. When asked if there was anything illegal in the residence, Betts reportedly produced marijuana wax and a glass smoking device.
