Applications for Warrens Cranberry Festival scholarships are available to residents of the Tomah Area School District and alumni.

Applications are on the Tomah Area School District and Cranberry Festival websites. They can also be obtained by calling the festival office at 608-378-4200 or emailing

The festival selects six recipients based on academic ability and achievement, financial need, persistence, service to others and leadership. Applicants are required to submit their grade-point average, the college or university to which they have been accepted or already attend and a 300-word essay.

Since 1973, the festival has awarded $98,000 in scholarship funding to local students. Scholarships are also awarded to the festival royalty − one cranberry queen and two cranberry princesses − upon completion of their one-year reign.
