The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, in cooperation with Ho-Chunk Casino-Wisconsin Dells, American Legion Auxiliary, United Women Veterans, and the American Red Cross, will host a veterans benefit expo on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Wisconsin Dells Ho-Chunk Casino.
All veterans, their families and friends are invited to attend the event from noon to 5 p.m. in the main atrium and ball rooms A, B, H & I.
There will be information from the state, federal, and local level from agencies that offer benefits to veterans.
Among those presenting information will be Wisconsin county veterans service officers, representatives from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and the WDVA.
Doors open at noon, with an opening ceremony at 1 p.m. featuring country music artist Ricky Lee performing the national anthem.
There will also be veteran-owned business offering their products, as well as silent auction items.
There will be a benefit concert from 7-9 p.m with Lee. All proceeds will go to the American Legion Auxiliary program, “Connections,” which benefits homeless Wisconsin women veterans.
