Winnebago Lights display the biggest yet

The Tomah Holiday Lights Committee would like to thank everyone for their help in making our third annual Tomah Holiday Lights in the Park display a huge success!

With donations from last year, we were able to add more lights and 40 new trees, allowing the display to be brighter and even more beautiful to the visitors of the park. Santa was in an enclosed area, making it more enjoyable to the people who visited him for pictures. Volunteers really enjoyed themselves collecting monetary donations and food for our local food pantry.

A big thank you to everyone who assisted with setting up and taking down the display and to the volunteers who stood outside to take donations and greet visitors coming to view the display.

We collected 657 pounds of food this year, which we are very grateful for. One hundred percent of the donations made to the Holiday Lights display will go back into the park to make it better each year!

We had many wonderful comments about the Bethlehem Village and Santa being in his sleigh for visits and pictures.

We are already in the planning stage of next year’s Holiday Lights display. We hope all of you enjoyed our efforts in bringing this Christmas event to Tomah.

We wish all of you a healthy and happy 2018.

Trudy Peterson,

Tomah Holiday Lights Committee
