Nine of Tomah’s 12 competitors earned medals Saturday at a powerlifting meet held at Holmen High School.

The Timberwolves got another qualifier for the state meet when Morgan Arch performed qualifying lifts in the girls 181-pound division for a third-place finish. She joins Hunter Eirschele, Courtney Humphrey, Nolan Young and Dylan Burkwalt as Tomah lifters who have punched their tickets to the state meet in March.

Other Tomah results were:

  • Kendall Pollack, 123 pounds, second place.
  • Brittney Krog, 132, fifth.
  • Sabin Koss, 132, first.
  • Micah Winchell, 132, second.
  • Zach Mountain, 165, first.
  • Ethan Jewell, 181, fifth.
  • Connor Perry, 198, second.
  • Blake Moseley, 220, first.

Tomah’s next meet is Saturday, Feb. 17 at Necedah followed by the Last Chance Invitational Feb. 24 at Whitehall.
