A public conversation about the recent "Medicare for All" bill introduced by Bernie Sanders, and co-sponsored by Wisconsin Sen. Tammy Baldwin, will be held at the Viroqua American Legion Hall, 120 N. Rusk Ave., Virqoua, Saturday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m.

The speaker will be Dr. Melissa Stiles, Wisconsin Physicians for a National Health Plan leader and professor of family medicine at UW-Madison. There will also be an open forum featuring various local speakers with experience as health care providers, Q&A and discussion time and tools and information on how to continue the movement for single-payer health care.

There will be social time after the event featuring food, coffee and tea; beer will be available for purchase.
