A Hillsboro man was injured in a single-vehicle crash at about 3:06 a.m. Jan. 10 on Hwy. V near Mt. Tabor Road in the town of Forest.
A vehicle operated by Jerome H. Von Falkenstein, 42, of Hillsboro, was negotiating a curve on Hwy. V when he lost control, went off the road on the left, overturned and came to rest in the ditch, according to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office. Von Falkenstein was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Hillsboro Fire Department and Hillsboro EMS assisted at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
