GAY MILLS — The Mississippi Valley Conservancy will host a guided snowshoe hike at Kickapoo Bottoms from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 17, as part of the Linked to the Land series of outdoor experiences.

Hikers will explore some of the 84-acre property of scenic wetlands, grasslands and forest habitats with 4,700 feet of frontage on the Kickapoo River.

Kickapoo Bottoms is located on Hwy. 131 S., Gays Mills, near the Crawford County Fairgrounds. To reserve snowshoes for the event, contact or call 784-3606, ext. 6, by Tuesday, Feb. 13.
