Start a new family tradition at Norskedalen’s Old-Fashioned Christmas on Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Make Christmas ornaments with the blacksmith in his shop; get your favorite Norwegian baked goods at the bake sale; enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas dinner with family and friends; cast your vote in the best hot chocolate contest”; hunt for the yule log; search for clues in the scavenger hunt; sing carols with a bell choir in the chapel at 4:30 p.m.; enjoy beautiful decorations and holiday music; and for the first time ever enjoy the beauty of the lighted decorations in the evening.

Santa joins the fun at Norskedalen from 1-3 p.m.

Admission to Norskedalen’s Old-Fashioned Christmas is $6 for adults, $3 for kids K-12, and family rate of $15. The cost of admission does not include the meal.
