The Wednesday market has a large variety of vendors offering produce, baked goods, meat, eggs and crafts. The market is open 2-6 p.m. in the former Bluedog Cycles parking lot. Visa/MasterCard and SNAP benefits are accepted.

Basics of water-bath canning, Aug. 19

Join instructor Bjorn Bergman and learn the art and science of preserving your harvest with water-bath canning. Participants will make water-bath canner fruit jam and salsa in this full day class. Topics covered include: choosing recipes, necessary equipment, the process of canning and more. Participants will go home with jars of items made in class. Come with an appetite to preserve.
