Viroqua’s Driftless Dribblers will open their 2018 season of Granny Basketball with a tournament at Viroqua High School, 100 Blackhawk Drive, Saturday, March 10.

The first game of the day is at 10 a.m., with Viroqua facing La Crosse. At 11 a.m. it’s Lansing versus Wanamingo, noon is a Special Olympics exhibition (Viroqua’s charity) and 1 p.m. it’s Viroqua versus Wanamingo.

The snack bar will have beverages, barbecues, a variety of snacks and fruit available. It will be open from 10 a.m. until the games end.

The community is invited to come and cheer on the team. The team is always looking for new players. There is no running or jumping, so anyone can play. Women just need to be over 50; there is an upper limit. If interested, contact Kim Littel at 606-2037.
