Santa Claus made his way to Westby on Saturday, Dec. 9, with a special stop at the Westby-Christiana Fire Station.

The jolly old man in the red suit had plenty of visitors, some smiling and some crying through their Kodak moment, as Santa worked hard to find out who has been naughty and who has been nice this year.

The volunteer firemen were transformed into elves, assisting Mr. Claus as he collected wish lists from children before returning to the North Pole to prepare for his biggest day of the year. If you listened close you could even hear the reindeer on the roof top waiting to carry Santa back to the North Pole.

Treats were provided for the kids, including hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies right out of the oven. Treat bags were loaded with goodies including fruit, candy canes and peanuts.
